Touya silently walked to the hospital, sighing, his hands in his pockets. The wind rusteled his hair. He slowly went to his sensei's room, not watching the people around him. For a second it seemed like Nat was there, too, foillowing him. He reached his sensei's room, slwoly opening the door.

"Hi sensei!" he excalimed.
The womand on the bed smiled. "You seem brighter now."
"Yeah, cuase I ssee you."
"Thanks for loving me."
"I know," he said, grapsing her hand.
" Touya-san. It's my time. You have to let me go."

Touya thought back to the flitting image of Nat at the hospital.
"Hang on a sec, Chou-sensei."
He left the room running. He found Nat, sitting in a waiting room, crying.
"Hey. Sorry about today. I was a jerk. I want you to meet someone."

Natsumi looked up at him. She tried to say something, but all the crying has made her lose her voice. She looked to make sure the doctor hadn't come out yet before nodding, getting up to follow him. Natsumi didn't want to talk, her throat hurt, and she was hopping the doctor wouldn't come back when she wasn't there. 'Grandpa, please be ok,'she thought as the followed Touya.

Touya led her to his sensie's room.
"Sensei, this is my frined, Nat."
The womand on the bed smiled.
"Heh, you finally found yourself a girl instead of me."
Touya shoook his head. "Your're the only girl that's for me, sensei," he mumbled, holding her hand. He then hugged Nat reassuringly.

Natsumi couldn't help but smile as her voice returned to her. "So you're the sensei that i've heard so much about, i was hoping i could meet you one day, now i see why he cares for you so much,"she smiled a geniune kind smile at the sensei. "He's very lucky to have someone who cares for him so much,"she said kindly.

Suddenly there was a nock at the door. "Miyuzaki-san, may i speak with you please,"her grandfathers doctor said through the door. "Ah hai,"she said, her voice sudenly frightened. She turned back to Touya and his sensei and bowed. "Ah it was a pleasure meeting you, please excuse me,"she said as she bowed before rushing out of the room to speak with the doctor.

"well doctor.....how is he?"Natsumi asked with a worried face. "Don't worry, he's gonna be fine, he should watch what he eats. We'll also be putting him on heart attack watch, so we'll know when this happens again,"the doctor smiled at her. Natsumi felt relief wash through her as her knees buckled underneath her and she slid to the floor. "OH thankgoodness,"she breather as she put her face into her hands as a few tears slid down her cheeks.

Touya heard the cries of his new friend form next door. Worried, he quietly went out. Her hands were in her face, tears streaming. Touya wrapped his arms around her, rocking her gently.

"He's gonna be ok.....he's gonna be ok,"she whispered as she smield into her hands. "He is gonna have to stay here a few weeks, so you're gonna have to manage on your own for a while, think you can handle it?"the doctor asked with a kind smile. "Hai i can.....can i see him?"she asked eagerly. "Ofcourse, he refuses to take his medicine unless you're there,"the doctor sighed, frustrated. Natsumi couldn't help but smile as she was about to get up, turning to Touya. "Don't go anywhere until i finish talking to my grandpa,"she whispered to him before getting up and following the doctor to her grandpa's room.

Touya grabbed her hand, looking at the floor.
Even thought he couldn't understand it himself, he said, " I'll go with you, " he said, slipping his hand into hers in a comforting manner. "Sensei will be happy if I did this instead of doting on her,anway," he muttered.

Natsumi resisted the urge to roll her eyes, a bad habit, as the doctor led the way. As soon as they got there Natsumi left Touya's hand and ran over to her grandfather. He instantly got an annoyed look on his face as his granddaughter looked worried. "Don't look like that Sumi, it'll ruin that pretty face of yours,"he said to her, which in turn made her smile and hug him. "You had taco's for lunch...didn't you,"she said, her voice slightly annoyed. The old man looked away. "Maybe,"he mumbled. "You know those aren't good for your heart, ugh what AM i gonna do with you,"Natsumi sighed but smiled at her grandpa. "whatever you do promise me you'll smile, my summer beauty,"he smiled using the meaning of her first name. Natsumi only nodded as she hugged him tighter.

Touya leaned on the wall, smiling slightly at the scence, leaning on the wall heavily. He loved wacthing Nat, it reminded him so much of his sensei.
A doctor peered into the room.

"Atsuko-sama?"
Touya truned his head ot look at Nat, happily smiling, coversing with her granpa. He steped outside of the room, leaving the door open.
"Hai?"
"We're going to discuss the will of the patient. After you're done visting, may you come to my office?' the doctor asked kindly, giving him a card.
Touya made a fist, almost ripping the card.
"Yes, I understand," he forced out in a wheezy breath.

He went back into the room, leaning on the wall, falling to well needed sleep.

"Nat," he whispered. A small smile set on his lips.
He grabbed her hand, pulling her into a embrace. Kisisng her forehead like before, he whispered, "Goodnight, Nat, Sensei."

How dare they give up on her? One day...
No, that was impossible.
No amount of love could save her.
He left the doctor's office angerly, hurrying to his late night job before going back to his apartment for another sleepless night full of nightmars.

Touya greeted Nat with a smile today.
"You did okay without me, huh? " he asekd, sitting behind her.
"Atsuko-san! Sign up for the Tennis club!" someoone siad, thrusting a sign up sheet before his eyes. Touya signed it hurriedly, wanting to throw off the kid.

Before Natsumi could say something, a sliver haired third year girl burst through the classroom door. "Natsumi!!!"she cried hugging the girl. "Hey Yuki, how was practice yesterday?"Natsumi asked with an innocent smile, knowing she had worried her friend. "Where were you you annoying captain, you're supposed to tell me these things, don't go surpsrising and worrying me!"Yuki cried on Natsumi's shoulder. "OH don't be a baby it was a last minute thing, and i'm sure you managed, now get back to class you crazy worrying monkey,"Natsumi smiled patting her head. Yuki only pouted as she let go of natsumi and left the classroom. "Sorry, my vice captain, she worries alot,"Natsumi said to Touya with an apologetic smile
